TapID – NFC Powered Digital Networking

Traditional networking means remembering to carry business cards or typing contacts manually. TapID set out to fix that with tap-and-go NFC technology.

Overview

I worked with the team to capture real networking scenarios and documented these as user stories to guide design and engineering. I created end to end user flows in Figjam covering profile setup, tap-to-connect interactions and contact management.

I also managed the project board on Jira to keep tasks and milestones visible to everyone and coordinated regular team meetings to track progress and remove blockers. This helped the designers and developers stay perfectly in sync and kept our timeline on track.

Throughout development I collaborated with designers and developers to test NFC performance and handle edge cases. The product is still being built but our prototypes already show how frictionless a tap-to-share experience can be; no more paper cards, just a simple phone tap.

What I did

  • Coordinated initial discovery sessions to identify core networking scenarios and technical feasibility of NFC exchange

  • Produced detailed requirement documentation and user stories to guide the design and development teams

  • Created low-fidelity wireframes and user flow schematics to validate with stakeholders before development

  • Worked directly with developers during implementation to ensure a seamless tap-to-connect experience and accurate data handover

  • Managed communication between designers, engineers and business stakeholders to keep the project on schedule

We made networking frictionless and eco-friendly, positioning TapID as a modern alternative to traditional connections.
