Overview

Abiriba Communal Improvement Union wanted a single digital space to keep members especially those in the diaspora connected and to make union dues and contributions transparent. Records were scattered and participation felt inconsistent.

I worked under Jerry Uke, a Senior Project Manager. I helped gather requirements from branch admins and national leaders. We listened carefully to what they needed and turned those insights into clear user personas; members, branch admins, and national admins.

I mapped the user flow in FigJam, including the different user types. While Jerry handled high-level stakeholder negotiations, I coordinated closely with designers and developers in weekly sprint check-ins to keep everyone aligned.

The platform is still in active development but the early feedback from community leaders has been encouraging. We have laid the foundation for a transparent, easy to use system that will help members contribute and stay engaged from anywhere in the world.

We built a foundation that made community participation simpler, transparent, and accountable, strengthening trust across members at home and abroad.
